History
NeoCities was originally created to be a parody of GeoCities which enabled user to create free websites. Now, the creator has taken the project very seriously and now has expanded the service and given much more room for creators to code their own websites. Kyle Drake is the owner of NeoCities who grew the site from donations and supporter accounts and intends to continue the service for free for anyone who wants to express themselves online.
The site has been and is funded only by donations and supporter accounts. Drake promises to ensure that the project is free and open source for anybody just like the inspiration that he drew this up from.
